Except that anyone …
Except that anyone not in keeping with the doctrinal line – that business interests must be upheld at all costs – is marginalized & given too little coverage for their dissenting views in the mainstream.
Anybody with such a dissenting viewpoint would never get the backing of the vested interests in the mainstream media (owned by rich elites), let alone the financial backing to project them into any position of real power.
Meanwhile war is waged, people die.

Interesting – well …
Interesting – well of course governments are run by or heavily influenced by activists and usually relatively small numbers of activists have a huge impact. Same in traditional media campaigns and in online communities.

“A world which is …
“A world which is so radical that small numbers of activists seem to gain huge power”?
The only radicalism I see is that of the privileged elites in power, particularly that of the Western governments. They are the ones that have condoned the mass slaughter of millions abroad to take control of the vast resources in strategic areas of the world.
It is the activists that want power to the people to stop the ‘profits before people’ mentality of those that govern us, that are the moderates.

Now if you were to …
Now if you were to have stiffed the owner of the resturant $5 and gave $2 to the homeless man outside and $3 to the waiter would have been representing the the idea much better. Obama has never talked about taking from waiters… in fact I think one way he put it was “People like you and me are doing quite well… would it hurt me so much to pay a bit more than the waitress over there who is struggling to make rent.

Bigfishn – quite …
Bigfishn – quite frankly, I find what you did to that waiter unintelligent and rude. Is McCain against free speech, too? Ridiculous.

When the bill came, …
When the bill came, I decided not to tip the waiter because he was wearing an Obama T-shirt. I explained to him after i ate that I wasn’t going to tip him but I was going to redistribute his tip to someone that I deemed more in need, specifically the homeless guy outside. He stood there in disbelief, then angrily stormed away.I went outside, gave the homeless guy $5 and told him to thank the waiter inside.Wonder how the waiter liked that “change”.

Thanks – glad your students are enjoying videos. A gift to you but I ask only one favour which I think should be part of their course. Great for each student to make an informed comment eg here: own opinion on issues raised. Also rate each video they watch for quality / usefulness – top right stars. That will be a public service helping other students find what is useful, and Google / YouTube to select appropriately. I will try to reply their comments if they include “NVA course” so I know.

P Dixon, I am …
P Dixon, I am Adjunct Professor teaching Management Courses at a local community college here in Northern VA. My students are required to view videos relating to each chapter in the Mangaement Book. I found that they enjoy (youtube) insteading of me -placing a video in the DVD. They view you-tube and write a one page paper on the Speaker. I selected you, you have so much insight and appear to be passive about your topics.
Thanks

I agree to what you say. BUT: Passion is nothing without the appropriate communication and motivation skills. Todays leaders need knowledge about the psychology of humans. As Nefiodow says in “The 6th Kondratieff”:
