Catering- weddings??

Also it's really up to you.. if you don't mind start out at the bottom then figure out what you really want to do and go for it!
Like teacher's aid, Macy's perfume counter, design company... whatever! Don't limit yourself to the restaurants or food if that's not what you want to do. I never hurts to try or apply for different things... the worst thing that can happen is you don't hear from anyone or they say "no".
References :
Can apply to be a retail store manager or some giant super mart chain stores supervisor. I assume your experience should be relevant for any vocation that requires customer services, good communication skills, have played supervisory role before....etc
References :
Hotel mangement is a good choice. You could start as a front desk clerk & grow front there. Or work for a resort as hostess. There is also casino work on various levels related to that industry. You can also do you own business as party planner or organizer. Good luck.
References :
Any suggestions for changing from a restaurant career to something in a similar field?
I have around 10 years of management experience and would like to get out of the restaurant business all together. I have no college degree and would be willing to start at an entry level position in a lateral field.
